Oh yeah, I went to a place when I was like level 54... Got the mask and unlocked the chest afterwards. Then I got scared, looked up what I was getting into then bugged out. Will return later. lol

I'm making progress through the story, but I just went past a bit that removed most of my sidequests the giant whale-man thing that ate the carrier and launched 9S... somewhere.. Most of them I don't care about, but I never finished Father Servo, since there was at last try a 25 level difference, and his grab does All The Damage. Have I hosed up?

I'm curious, although I'm sure this has been answered... If I trash my save file for Ending E, that deletes all my progress for poo poo like other trophies, right? So I should save that for the absolute last thing I do?

Played for an hour or so, not having any fun. I really hate the camera and the controls feel awkward. I want to have faith in Platinum and Taro, so maybe im playing it wrong. Are there decent gameplay videos of this? Something like the Revengeance LP by Chip and Ironicus. Just want someone competent at the game and not screaming and being lol random for the sake of their horde of 12 year old fans. I'd search myself but I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

Another good tip is to remap the controls if the default is awkward for you - I switched dodge to L2 from R2, moved lock-on to D-Pad Up (since in theory I'm working towards Hard Mode and won't need it) and weapon switch to R2, and it's been a really fluid setup that still allows pod usage. If you're on a controller, leave the camera settings on default or at most crank up the sensitivity by only one notch - I started out with super sensitive settings and it was a pain, and the default is good to get you oriented with the basics of combat. As you get more comfortable, zoom out more.

Does 9S have a charge attack? I'm throwing spears and wondering if the charge chip would affect them since it makes the same visual cue when I throw them as when 2B does her charged heavy.

I must've beaten a Medium Biped with Drop Item +30 equipped. The weapon damage increase per seems incredibly large considering there's more than 3 levels of upgrade.

Well, I don't actually know, but it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to test. Use a throw on an enemy, note the damage. Then equip chip and repeat on the same enemy, note damage. I can't test myself because... reasons.

VH for the whole run is less doable, as there's a lot of glitchy stuff that does easily ignored chip damage on Hard, but results in confusing insta-death on Very Hard.

Certain fights/areas in particular are making me not want to do it, like the final fight of route AB having that lovely dirtstorm effect where you can barely see anything, or the desert boss as A2 which is just really poorly designed as a whole
