was up til 4 am playing last night, enjoying the hell out of this game. stopped at level 9, just got the sixth party member. currently using a build of charge, annihilation, and backlash. backlash is a ton of fun, use it to get back to cover after a misguided charge or just to straight up kill dudes.

resources are very scarce when starting out, but i like what i see of the crafting system. the way augments work is a little weird, will have to play more to understand how they are implemented.

Get the phone app and obsessively send out strike teams, gives you tons of resources and cool weapons. I got a reegar carbine out of a silver item box already.

My dudes every time I read a review, I'm like "christ this looks like completely sanitized garbage" but then I think of that one gif where Ryder uses biotics to pick up some soldier, throws him up in their air, and then charges him and then ground pounds him.

You are right it is a very cool gif where Ryder kills someone in the air then uselessly groundpounds a corpse.

To be fair, if the enemy had more health it would actually be an effective move I guess.

I just looked for an APK from a mirror and it more or less works. I can send out strike teams anyway and was able to claim the rewards in the trial. It crashes very frequently and the parts where you're supposed to be able to change your multiplayer loadouts straight up don't work, but otherwise functional.

ETA: This is on Android, not sure the apple version is available at all.

There's a game called Vanquish where doing extremely rad poo poo while zooming about isn't just possible, it's the only way to play. Consider playing Vanquish if you have 360 or PS3 still.

eh, i'll wait til i can just download it from the google store. i've been doing strike teams in game, but i will keep at it. i like the strike team system, vastly superior to war table missions.
