Luna's final slot (where LITC rolls) is mostly good perks, not much trash. You can get Hidden Hand, Icarus, LITC, and Reactive Reload there. I already have a Palindrome with Rangefinder, Rifled, and Icarus  , so I like that my Luna is RF/Rifled/LITC. It's fun.

Sureshot / Rescue Mag / Rifled / HH Eyasluna is sex. Pretty much guaranteed to not ever need reload in the heat of battle.

This goes for your subclass as well. Once you have your first subclass fully leveled up, make it a habit to switch to another subclass for xp gains. If you're planning on creating another character down the line, save whatever Light Level booster the game has provided you. These boosters won't level anything up for you, just allow you to equip higher gear faster.

I'm level 40 and it wasn't full. I haven't started iron banner quests yet if that matters. It's happened with vanguard rank reward too. The preview option shows a list of gear possibilities but when I pick one it just gives me 4 or 5 motes and coins.

Where Bungie hosed up is that destiny does't have a grizzled staff sergeant with dark skin cracking hilarious jokes. Instead we got Nathan Fillion pretending to be a robot dennis the menace. I like the actor well enough but there's too many "insert quip, wait for laughter" deliveries.

I hope the fist or second mission in Destiny 2 is our year 1 guardian walking a group of Vanguard recruits through the tower. We have to introduce them to all the NPC's before a cutscene of an attack on the city. A huge piece of debris falls on top of us, and in our last breath we tell the ghost to pick one of these new recruits to help save the city. Then we launch into a create a character screen.
