Ya cant help but lol when so many news outlets said they had anonymous intelligence sources that trump had ties to russia, then a couple weeks later they all say trump is crazy for making up lies that hes being wiretapped. Lol what kinda crazy people think theyre being spied on thru their microwave??. Mega lol when new york times actually got caught removing the word "wiretap" from one of their old headlines on their website.

We are only a couple of months away till the gloves come off and "confused", "deranged" and "donkey brained" start flying around. What's the hold up? Months? Yeah maybe he'll do great good in the next eight weeks lol then you'd sure feel bad for being mean. Everyone called him a liar before he was running. No important TV news will openly call the President something funny like "bungler", "obvious dementia case", embarrassing, or donkey brained because they're too milquetoast and too concerned with respectability. I maintain this belief because if it does happen it'll be better. Please feel free to post examples when they prove me wrong. Is this true - "Stümper" in German means "a pitiful, inffectual person"? Don't call him "confused" alright use that one once or twice

Obv in general everyone is being watched at all times (hello NSA robots) - the insanity is going on Twitter and insisting a specific thing happened when it didn't and it is a serious allegation and your own administration can't even keep the story straight and is waffling back and forth between "yeah that's our position" and "we'll let the tweet speak for itself" and "no that's not what we're saying" like a bunch of clown show fools. If the POTUS can just make allegations based on nothing whatsoever about private citizens (even if they are Obama, so what?) with 0 follow through or anything well uh.... trump doesn't know what the gently caress he's doing beyond attempting to shift blame and it's very funny to watch people try to convince themselves (and others) that this spectacle is anything other than Trump slowly learning that politics requires actual big-boy negotiation skills, and that all his little baby tantrums won't change it. can you imagine being so stubborn that you'd think any of his actions are like, well planned out? furthermore can you imagine actually trying to believe that his actions are that of an accomplished businessman?

If a seventh grader starts trading fake burps for laughs in gym class, what’s a teacher to do? Order extra laps? Detention? A trip to the principal’s office? Maybe. But then again, maybe that’s too old school. Maybe today you call a police officer. And maybe today the officer decides that, instead of just escorting the now compliant thirteen year old to the principal’s office, an arrest would be a better idea. So out come the handcuffs and off goes the child to juvenile detention. My colleagues suggest the law permits exactly this option and they offer ninety-four pages explaining why they think that’s so. Respectfully, I remain unpersuaded.

quote:The majority upheld the school's decision to call the cops and have the teenager arrested for making fake burping noises while in gym class. Gorsuch, however, was not persuaded that the law permitted the state to intervene in such a trivial disciplinary matter. he then quoted Dickens about how law is an rear end. so, in so far as the burping case goes, dude's alright. then he was wishy washy on euthanasia so i'm a little bit confused as to why he's been picked. he was told to go home but not drink vodka. welp, that's the capitol

quote:My colleagues likewise dismiss the authority from other states interpreting similar statutes similarly. Maj. Op. at 49-50. But again it’s hard to see why. After all, these cases draw the same distinction suggested by Silva — between childish pranks and more seriously disruptive behaviors — and hold that only the latter are prohibited by statutes like the one before us today. And they draw that distinction, too, because disciplining children who temporarily distract classmates and interrupt lessons “is simply part of [traditional] school activity” and part of its “lawful mission … or function[].” In re Jason W., 837 A.2d at 174; see also In re Brown, 562 S.E.2d at 585-86. Given that, I would have thought these cases would have only reinforced the lesson Silva already taught reasonable officers in New Mexico. See Wilson v. Layne, 526 U.S. 603, 617 (1999) (noting law may be clearly established if there is “a consensus of cases of persuasive authority such that a reasonable officer could not have believed that his actions were lawful”). So, he ruled in favor of the kid- good. Mah school to prison pipeline
