Long story short: the GOP is still running around either whipping people to vote for this turd or trying to provide them cover. All and all, the real answer is how many people are really for this, how many are scared of their voters (rightfully), and how much of it is a lack of trust in Ryan and especially Trump. I imagine that one loser that was 'won over' was a plant to give this sad piece of legislation hope. We'll see how it all happens tomorrow. Either way, some real problems in the GOP Congress. They can't figure how they should vote and don't seem to have much direction if they can't get lockstep on this. Given that all calls in the US to anyone outside the US are monitored, that's probably what happened here. Trump called Nigel Farage, or anyone else outside the US, the NSA recorded information about the calls and that information was delivered to the committee.
