Good for him, I hope he succeeds! Smoking is a nasty habit!

I lost my real dad years ago to throat cancer because he smoked 3 packs a day since he was like 13. I didn't know him well enough to really care (parents divorced when I was real young) but was there at the end and it sucked so hopefully your pops can kick it. Smoking...not the bucket...

Any of you guys ever use BCAA recovery supplements

Same. But I'm getting old and my body is taking longer and longer to recover so I am seriously thinking about beginning to take some. If you try 'em out Ehud, let me know what you think. They got very good reviews...

I was in Vegas for the first time last fall, and figured I'd hit up Circus Circus since I had my kid with me. The Adventuredome (indoor theme park) was good for kids, the rides aren't too big or exciting but they'll get the job done for roughly 6-14 year olds. The casino and midway were absolutely horrific, even by off-strip casino standards it was dark, smelly, and near as I can tell hasn't had any updates or repairs done since 1974. I don't know what hooker Quiet Feet found, but if the casino was any indicator of quality, you could probably save yourself $49,950 and a lot of trouble by hitting up the Flying J lounge around 1 am.

I have mastered my basic job responsibilities and have automated a large part of the basic functions of my job with AutoHotKey. I now spend most of the free time I created documenting issues, putting fires out, and helping other people.

News: Recently, a Product Owner, Product Manager, and QA all left from the same product development team. It is our most hosed up product and needs love ASAP, so I've been talking people up and just talked to our CTO about the QA job despite my complete lack of programming / development experience.

Curious - how much protein do you normally eat in a given day? I researched this more today and it looks like most of the studies proved that BCAA's are mostly effective in helping with recovery for people who don't eat enough protein.

I dont use em but i eat enough protein and then some.

If you take protein powder it probably has all the bcaas already added.

I think scivation make the best ones but that might be different from what i read 2 or 3 years ago now.

The very first patient I ever had as a medical student was an infant that had a genetic disease that prevented her from metabolizing BCAA's. One of the side effects is that the urine has an odor similar to maple syrup. As a result, its called Maple Syrup Urine Disease.

I like just wandering around places. maybe food trucks for lunch although it will prolly be raining. Already did Powells.

https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/lifestyle/tv/1202508/a-year-in-eden-remaining-cast-of-tv-show-finally-leave-their-remote-highland-home/

The show was cancelled after a few episodes, but only half the cast quit, but since the cctv was setup, they kept it going with the last 10 contestants.

You're about 10 minutes south of some spots on Mississippi Street, Alberta Street, and Vancouver Street, which have some good shops and little bars/restaurants if you're into it. Or Lloyd Center if you like underage girls being recruited into human trafficking I guess? Not a ton going on near the convention center, especially midday, sorry.
