James will have wandered the country, at which point he settled in Austin Texas to focus on his music. After pulling off an upset win in Season 3 of American Idol, he became a huge pop star. His return to Twin Peaks coincides with the 25th annual benefit concert for the pine weasel. or something Anyway, just found this thread- super psyched for the new season. I just ordered Secret History and Diary of Laura Palmer, and I'm through episode 22 on my first re-watch in about 10 years. As Andy said while the Mayor gets to know his sister-in-law in the sherriff's conference room "It's hard... the waiting"
