dale morris has apparently fractured his leg, but considering he played through a fractured back in last years finals series it shouldnt keep him out too long maybe he could get on whatever daniel cross took in his last year with us where he got back from a leg fracture within a month

Scans have shown that Riewoldt only has bone bruising with no ACL damage. Said on the news he might be back in 3 weeks but the club has just said they are going to see what happens. Should be back at some stage though!

Massive dominance in hit-outs, clearances and inside 50s to the Dockers yet getting beaten comprehensively. Unusual. Round 1 is done. Yay footy! It was too warm and too sunny this weekend to feel like proper footy season, but the cold is on the way in Melbourne (and daylight savings ends next weekend).

Fyfe looks rusty as gently caress is why imo, so many times I saw him fumble or grasp at a ball he normally takes in one grab and turns into a great play for the Dockers. Also the downside of Rossball, a team with lovely kicking skills that falls over when the Ross Master System for Ultimate Victory has been invalidated.

There is some wilfully stupid poo poo being said on SEN this morning, Gary Lyon and Mike Sheehan demanding to know what the difference is between Jobe getting stripped of his Brownlow and Cousins not. Hamish had to quietly tell them one was suspended by WADA and the other wasn't.
