It is sort of weird to use NIoh as a 'caught up to' imagine when like... loving Dark Souls has been the gold standard for RPGs people don't shut the gently caress up about for several years now. Niohwns but it ain't catching up to anything.

Nioh also is even less western than said Souls games because the characters don't even speak english for most of it outside of the text, compared to the Souls games which have only English VA in all languages

Pretty sure they're talking about sales and the problems a bunch of a Japanese devs had with doing HD. Persona straight up skipped the 360/PS3 gen. Nioh was announced back in the PS2 days. Sunning can probably write like a 30 page essay about this.

I like the STEAM controller. I prefer the Xbone controller but it's great to lounge around and play games that don't have native gamepad support. Configs do take a bit to get used to though.
