I definitely needed to watch a show that is this positive about our human traits, it's so heartwarming. That shot in episode 12 where the owls hover ominously in front of the multicoloured glowing eyes gave me such strong True Demon Ending from SMT:Nocturne vibes.

This is unironically my AOTS. It's heartlfelt, it's sweet, no gross fanservice, characters all grow and change, just so much effort that paid off in this production. I'm going to have to one day do some big goony writeup to properly gush on the things the show did right.

This show has a lot of genuine heart and it has some of the best unspoken backstory/worldbuilding stuff I've seen for a good while. Unfortunately it's also a really loving hard sell to convince someone else to watch it.
