Watched the first minute and it was loving great. I am a long time nerd and proud of it so when DC makes something you'd better like it whether you like it or not. Just got back from Casper the Friendly Ghost in the Shell. It wasn't bad. The villain was super predictable and plain, and they didn't have time to develop anyone apart from Bato and Major, but the scenes and themes lifted from the source material kind of carried it. What I liked is that despite your usual neon and holographic madness of a cyberpunk megapolis, they've actually used plenty of real locations and sets. Compared to the Asian segment in Cloud Atlas, the city actually looked believable. The soundtrack was forgettable, but serviceable, I suppose. 6.5/10.
