I vote for Tibet with an aim towards supporting the Indians because the Dalai Lama kicks rear end The complete lack of cover and our limited amount of assets make operating over the water dangerous at best. There will be nowhere to hide if we get in trouble. Tibet's mountainous terrain gives us valleys for our otherwise defenceless CAS jets to run through and our nimble Gripens will do well too Enfield303 fucked around with this message at 16:31 on Mar 31, 2017 |

I'd say the best place to practice our COIN skills is Tibet. I'd be inclined to go for the Chinese contract since it's just a simple bomb truck job that'll get you gents warmed right up.

I vote for India, as I support an independent Tibet and getting on the good side of the UN and India while helping Tibet can only be a good thing.

This? This is a great idea for an LP. Also, toss my name in for any plane that opens up, callsign Eidolon. As for mission fit, I think working with the Indians makes the most sense, given mission types. We have an advantage in providing CAP thanks to our AWACS plane and Meteor missiles, and honestly we need to shepherd our precious Gripens while the 105's are a wee bit more expendable/easier to replace. CAP missions seem safest for our most expensive assets, while the 105s I think will be effective at SEAD in the mountainous AOA.

You guys want to save the world, but are also turning down a chance for eco-terrorism? Let's make an ACTUAL difference (and lots of money).

I also choose the Indians because "Free Tibet" I guess? Also it looks like a nice start up, gives us a name as a (hopefully) competent, decentish PMC. Though Angerpeach sounds tempting.

Dorf me in as Guns Guns Guns. I have not read the update yet but glancing at the thread votes I see an opportunity for eco-terrorism for which I will vote because I got into the mercenary game for all the worst reasons.

In the face of the growing tide of Eco terrorists I switch votes to supporting India in Tibet. Mandatory screenings on "Why pissing off the world with unsanctioned terrorism in our first outing is a bad idea" Training Film start Monday with a followup sensitivity class on "Jesus Christ let us make some money before we go insane"

Why India over the TLA directly? I'm not trying to contest, just genuinely curious.

All I hear is everybody putting things like "reputation" and "not pissing off all the major world powers" above preventing the total ecological collapse of our oceans. Also, terrorism apparently pays really REALLY well

I'm fairly certain going right into terrorism would result in y'all getting a bath in Guantanamo Bay. Besides, we don't have stealth aircrafts so the CAG would notice us rather quickly loving with all-american companies.

Think of it this way, if we don't tangle with a US carrier group right now. When it comes time to burn entire towns to ash..we can do it with premium US made Napalm and Swedish cluster bombs. You know, the good stuff.

With our strong AEW, I'd have preferred the fish sticks mission, but looks like we're going to be fighting over Tibet. In either case, I think we'd ought to support the NATO-approved side of the operation; both because the missions match our capabilities, but also because it keeps the nations that make our armaments happy.

I'll vote for Area 1 and India too. Easy money with UN approval, and creating a good relationship with a mostly-neutral regional power like India might give us the opportunity to obtain stuff like Jaguar strike fighters or modernized MiG-21s if we run into supply trouble.
