He's been a bit better this year there, but still bad. I mean, his TS% in general is fine, he is not an inefficient scorer. Its just that when he drives you can just defend the drive and kick instead of the layup.

Has Chauncey always been this whiny about toughness, defense, and physicality in "today's league"? The way he talks you'd think he played rugby during the Great Depression, not that he retired like 2 seasons ago.

But then I heard an interview with Lowry where they asked him if Demar should take more efficient shots. Lowry said "well he practices those pull ups all day and night so how is it inefficient. It's what he works on making" I thought that was sorta BS but it makes sense. If the guy works on fade aways and pull ups from midrange then those are the shots he needs to take. And of course it helps that he makes them all.

I don't know on what number of attempts that is, but goddamn it. Similarly, his mid range FG% goes up the longer he holds the ball. He's so good, but it's like he was created in a loving lab to give me an aneurysm.
