Looks like Robo Recall got the 360 degree update today. I'll give it a shot later and see how it is.

does it get rid of the stupid joystick rotation feature? that's pretty useless in a 360 format and it really doesn't work well with the vive touchpad.

Boy Giant Cop was a waste of money. It is a really pretty game. But you'll play it for a tiny bit and then you've done literally everything. Its hardly a game. Huge disappointment.

Looking at the trailer, it looks like a game someone thought would be really awesome. Then when they realized there wasn't much game there, they decided to just make it into a sandbox game.

The new Onward patch is outstanding. Instead of going over every one here's the patchnotes.Dante the Onward Dev posted:
The new map Bazaar is really, really good. Medium sized, lots and lots of routes, lots of cover and multiple levels, its crazy awesome. Its a significant step up from the maps that preceded it. The new game mode Escort is much more dynamic and intense than Uplink. One person on Marsoc is made the VIP on map spawn-in who only has a pistol, syringe, knife and body armor and they have to run across one of two extraction points marked on the map. The map getting added to spectator mode is also really great, lets you see little dots where your team on the map is and the objective(s) are. The performance boosts are real, I was able to up my SS from 1.4 on my 1070 to 1.6 and I'm still very smooth. My only complaint is that the scope on the SKS appears to have moved forwards further from the firing hand which makes me a little sad. I hope it gets an adjustable scope adjustment like H3VR does soon.

Anyone know if there will be another pimax vr headset coming out with more sensors to allow head movement ? As I understand it, it currently only does rotation/tilt but actual movement of your head isn't picked up yet. Vive/Oculus pricing is absurd in Canada for last year's tech.

Onward update fixes a few of the more glaring design flaws, but doesn't do anything about the horrific performance bugs. Tried to get back into it, but my session was plagued by people dropping to ~5FPS without warning and getting stuck on black screens. It's a shame; the new game mode looked interesting. Meanwhile, it sounds like Pavlov's getting support for making custom maps in the UE4 editor and sharing them via the workshop soon!

We covered this to death in goon discord but many, many people play onward with 970s and 980s and get great performance.

Played some Bazaaaar in Onward and boy is it a fun map, also the speed limit on run&gun is nice. I mean I still die to flanks but atlast I have a theoretical chance of killing em. On the performance issues, my gtx 980 runs smoothly, but on the occasions I tried steamvr beta, even 1.2 supersampling would crater performance. Well, 1080 Ti is only what 800-900Eur?

Played more Narcosis last night, had a better time of it than I did when I first started playing. I play it like I'm in a mech suit and it feels a lot better immersion-wise. It's also really helping with my VR legs as well because the controls force you to move in very natural ways what with sitting down but it's an enjoyable experience.

Well 90 minutes of Onward was no fun. Pavlov was better but the recoil is bizarrely huge, these games force the two handed "grip" which just feels bad to me with my left hand just hovering out in front of me. I don't know why they force realistic gun reloads and make me pull pins off grenades and stuff either, it's just chores. I just want an arcade MP shooter with the mechanical fun of SPT or RR instead of gun nut stuff. It would also be nice if it didn't look like crap.
