just to put the argument to rest, Krillin explicitly was like "no flying" as part of the general tournament rules and then in his fight with Goku which was by the tournament rules neither of them flew theres no flying, at all, its not just off the ring

I like to think that's how Buu would've looked like if Good Buu had eaten the evil one. I liked the ED, but by the way it started I expected a modern version of Romantic Ageru yo so I was mildy disappointed. And speaking of disappointments, I was totally expecting to see this attack but then Goku went and threw the match, jerk.  All in all, it was a good episode, the animation was good, Krillin's fainting a taiyoken ruled, 18 and him are really cute and speaking of which, is this the first time Maron has had actual non-baby lines of dialogue?

Yeah, Super has just been really on-point recently. I think everything since the end of the Zamasu arc has been some of the most fun I've had with DBZ at least since BotG.

I do worry they're blowing their load too early with Krillin. Gohan getting knocked down a whole bag of pegs bodes well for him in the actual tournament. Surprise last-minute entry Yamcha will still be MVP though.

Krillin's point about Gohan and Goku being used to life-threatening situations and not actual tournaments with rules is probably why they end up thinking of Tien as a teammate, since he's got lots of tourney experience but they should really be bringing in Hercule, he wins lots of tournaments, he would know best

After not doing anything with 18 for ages I feel they really nailed her the last few times she showed up. She is loving and caring towards her spouse and kid, and all business stone cold and takes some form of sadistic joy in pulling unexpected stuff, just like in her introduction.
