Now that is some good poo poo. It still surprises me that the focal point for ethical journalism has, in so many cases, shifted to the Middle East. But I suppose it's a natural reaction to living in oppressive states; things like truth and ethics suddenly becomes worth a hell of a lot more. Though I wonder, given how toxic the Trump administration is, if he wasn't being a turd and was actually told he couldn't get a job in the state department unless he cleansed his past work to be ideologically pure.
