My office is in the front room of a run-down 12 megapixel sensor but the rent suits me and the landlord doesn't ask many questions.

Logan Floods 2017

I really like this one. I really like big trees like this, I find pictures of them boring though. I was going for like a typical tree photo, where you don't immediately notice the water or the keep left sign. First time intentionally shooting BW too. Thoughts?

Not great but I kept them to remember it by:

I don't care much for the flood pictures but this is a very good photograph.

BARTHOLOMEW THEODOSUS IS NOT AMUSED
Recently picked up a new camera (Fujifilm X-T2) and have been testing it out here and there. Most of my catalog is music, sports, and portraiture/cosplay I figured I'd try something a little different.

LOL.... I saw Logan in the title and have seen titles of Cleveland on some of your pics before. Thought you were rooted in Ohio too. I guess the palm tree in one of the photos titled Cleveland should have been a good indicator that you aren't, but I'm pretty dense. :)

Brisbane's a bit like that, we have a Miami too. I think Logan is the equivalent of an American county, it has it's own city council and services but isn't physically separate from Brisbane.

Gnarly..

There's a donation page set up to lend a hand to those up that way hit by the floods. seems it was pretty bad particularly for Murwillumbah. So loving beautiful up that way. I'd move there in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the unbearable summer heat

Haven't taken any photo's nor posted them in a long long time. Here's a couple I've taken since the school holidays began on Saturday.

This is the first time I've attempted to use photoshops HDR mode although it was only one photo. I like the outcome of it and probably would use it again I think.

This one is round the corner from my house. The power lines run the whole way across the suburb to help supply the trains with power.

A shot I'm pretty proud of from Costa Rica a couple weeks ago.

60s exposure (with a 10 stop filter), ISO 100, f/11 (if I remember correctly; not at my editing machine right now to check)
