This is why the Wigan game was important what with being away to Fulham today. Luckily Blackburn didn't gain any ground.

Have to say well done to Norwich, look forward to seeing the highlights of that.

It would take a monumental fuckup to not be automatically promoted at this point

That Shelvey effort was pretty impressive.

Also where did that come from Norwich? You weren't even playing a bad team

I haven't heard that since they went 11 wins in a row or whatever it was. We looked unbeatable. We've been off the boil for ages now.

Nah we got him last summer. He was away in January/February for the ACON which coincided with us losing 7 of 8 games which screwed up our season.

Yeah that's insane. Last time we went up there were several players who were PL standard. This time our best players (who we rely on to an embarrassing extent) are Shelvey and Gayle, who've always looked a bit poo poo in the prem

Dwight Gayle never really looked out of place in the Premier League imo.

He was just playing for a Palace team that had no creativity but still managed to be their top scorer for like three seasons.

i do think he would have struggled with Palace's team this season since they're so reliant on Benteke knocking balls down to wide players.

He's a quick player and a good finisher, he's a lot like Vardy in that respect, and with a very similar trajectory.

It does a bit, but I'm certain he would have left at the end of the season anyway. He's been injured on and off so it might be for the sake of recovery time, unless it's a family thing.

Huh that's odd. Well I wouldn't be surprised if Ipswich nabbed him. He'd be free which works for us, and he was here a long time and was a solid part of the team.

No idea if he's better or worse now though.
