I just can't believe that I never realized the first time I watched this that this is just a lovely Vampire: The Masquerade game. Then you got the Box Carriers using the Hunter book for their characters. And Kaneki's like the half-breed daywalker motherfucker.

Like if they can have super science methods to fight Ghouls, why not just clone loving human flesh? It doesn't even need to be a full thing, just a few organs and some tissue. A genetics company just uses them to dispose of failures and life goes on.

Vampire half-breeds get special powers, because they can still go around in daylight while having vampire powers, or they can still derive sustenance from normal food and not just blood, or they lack the VS Holy Weapons weakness I don't get what the gently caress makes this whiny poo poo "special"!
