The tone of a bunch of articles are fear-mongering and all about "what are those foreigners planning!?!?" with her intentionally cropping images to make things seem more sinister, or as with the whole Miko thing, replacing the story entirely just to have something more exciting to go alongside the pictures. Basically it is just her doing everything she can to try and make something attention grabbing at the cost of being dishonest, even without outright lying at times. Of course then she has the conversation with Hecatia, which leads to her thinking about the information she was putting out there and how it was actually kinda harmful thanks to the way it painted things.

This then leads her to first start doing the corrections, where she apologizes for things like cropping out parts of images to make them seem less normal and for completely replacing the text in the Miko speech just to have something more exciting, and then ends with her concluding that the entire thing just isn't worth it and she just ends up scrapping the whole magazine.

It is a neat way of telling a story about Aya learning the power that media can have, and how much damage she can unintentionally cause by trying to make something more "exciting".

She sure has come a long way since Double Spoiler, where she basically bragged about how the truth doesn't actually matter and pictures and lies are what really bring in the readers. :unsmith:

The rest of Eiki's speech in that chapter matches up with this interview, with her conjecture that being that Hecatia was rewarding Clownpiece

Eiki probably more meant leader as in founder, since Hecatia is part of the origin of Hell itself, rather than directly part of the Yama/Kishin structure.

She's a leader in the sense that if you go against her you'll get horribly destroyed. As she says in the interview, hell's denizens are gonna get discouraged from targeting Gensokyo just because she thinks it's a cool place. That's as close to a leadership figure you'll get in a place that's pure anarchy, especially in the eyes of someone who probably views the world in a more hierarchical lense like a yama.

hahahaha, oh my god. I just got to a remix group called "SKETCH THE FUNTASY".

I can't stop laughing, never before have I had to describe a group as "heavy metal, except if they had to be considerate of too much noise for their neighbors/parents", also the instruments are either too loud or too quiet and drown out the others/vocals, I love it

I'm going to be putting their entire works in here(10 mp3s) in the booby prize folder because they are amazing in their awfulness. What's the quickest/easiest way to put an mp3 on youtube, I want to share a sample.

Just how far does the Cookie Kiss hole go? I feel like every time I'm looking at MADs there's a new awkward doodle of a Touhou. I know it get started with that lovely fandrama, but my best guess is that it's evolved into an ongoing archive of bad and weird Touhou fanmaterial.

Really just check out his channel if you like rockin' guitar covers. He's one of the best. Sometimes his guitar solos don't really fit the original track but he's definitely improved on that as of late. He also did a full soundtrack cover for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, and offers downloads for everything for free on his site. Check'im out.
