I think everyone who complains about that 'stealth' mission was trying too hard. It is incredibly forgiving-- you have to basically be right in front of him to trigger a loss. Wear the stealth armor or eat a 3-stealth food and just stand by a tree while keeping track of him, occasionally advancing as he gets far enough away. Granted, when I beat it the wolf people talk about did not show, but you can always snipe it with a strong enough bow, if you even need to kill it for the quest. SEriously, its not thief or metal gear, people, just be a little more careful than usual!

I can see why people find it frustrating, most of the game revolves around kicking in bokoblin skulls in variously showy manners, having to switch to stealth is kinda tricky.

the stealth thing in WW is worse cause its at the very beginning and way longer and not optional. and cause so much of that game owns

I failed it a bunch of times. It was terrible. At the end after the wolf he doglegs left really quickly and somehow either always sees me or I lose him then truck over him because he is grass height and green and I was playing in handheld on mute. Took me about an hour to clear it, it sucks because it is way too long, has an unforgiving fail state for the length, and is completely counter to everything that makes the game great. EDIT: When I finally succeeded I lost track of him after the wolf and just waited a while longer and guessed where he was going.

godammit I got the lego city game because it looks awesome, but it is laggy as gently caress which i can live with, but I just got a really weird bug where a 'select floor' dialog is stuck on the screen and stays there trough restarts and new maps. I finally got it to go away by going back to the elevator in the police station, but gently caress, was the game this loving buggy on the wiiu? Who the gently caress is responsible for all these lovely ports?

The arrow glitch is you can go to a place with mounted archers and if you put the camera directly over yourself they will never hit. To can stand there and mash A without even moving every few minutes to get a ton of arrows. I've always just bought them.

well why not posted:I can see why people find it frustrating, most of the game revolves around kicking in bokoblin skulls in variously showy manners, having to switch to stealth is kinda tricky. I sneak attack stuff constantly, though I was surprised the first time I did so and it didn't outright kill the enemy. Except when there's a large metal object nearby, then I magnetize it and start bashing bokoblins until I get bored and drop the crate on something and watch them go splat.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills because apparently this MGS For Toddlers mission was "bad" enough to warrant an entire Kotaku article on it. I think one of the editors even said it was longer and worse than Chapter 13 in FF15 so that's when I assumed everyone was on bath salts also shut the gently caress up, Methodis DLC Inc fucked around with this message at 13:45 on Apr 12, 2017 |

That korok can't even hear you. The stealth gear doesn't actually matter at all in that mission. All you have to do is not get in his line of sight, and every time he turns around it is scripted and he gives you a dialogue warning beforehand.

The wolf won't hurt the korok. The korok says something whenever it's about to turn around. Just don't walk directly behind it. It's like the clan hideout, y'all overthink it

The scripted bit where he gets spooked and immediately runs back towards you near the end of the escort path almost certainly got everyone at least once, causing you to start the whole (bad, slow, and unnecessary) thing over again. That said, it was just a 20-minute slog on a 100-hour good game.

If you had the stamina (via elixir chugging) I wonder how many KM you can cover by gliding off of Death Mountain's peak. You can literally make it from one corner of the map to the other thanks to elixir chugging and having a poo poo ton of bomb arrows (which you fire at the ground and use the fire to ride updrafts).

One of the things with the Korok stealth mission is that he can literally be super far out of sight and all you have to do is follow his voice bubble. Like, I sat there and was like "Oh no, where-" and in the distance, I see "I AM WALKING AND I AM SO BRAVE." The part where he turns around shouldn't have gotten anyone, because he will not see you unless you are literally standing directly behind him with a neon sign. I stood next to the tree trunk tunnel when he did that and thought I'd screwed up. Nope, he just said "It's not a ghost. Silly me!" and moved on. I actually made the mistake of entering the shrine before talking to him at the end, because I didn't think he should see me ever at all, and I had to do the mission again to clear the shrine quest. I also did the wood/fire quest guns blazing by bolting through the forest path while everyone shot at me, so maybe I'm just a little unorthodox in how I play.
