Your wirelessly connected always online smartgun can spend bitcoins to create a smart contract with your opponent's body armor through the internet of things. You can also put your smart bullets on the public market, giving them a chance to sign contracts to kill nearby bystanders wanted by other bidders.

can we have smart bullets that automatically search someone's facebook and send pictures to local journalists of them frowning or holding their hands in a threatening manner and they're passing through a child's brain

that's less cyberpunk and more like the Culture though.

the only smart gun that gun nuts would actually buy would connect to your security system that streams to your phone, letting you press a button and blast away any intruders even when you're gone

it would be incredibly easy to hack, of course

I'm a little unclear as to the specifics here: is the gun owner shooting the 7-year old black child because, they were bleeding out near their car, or for some other reason?

journalists report on gun ownership as averages, like "1 guns for every person in america", to cover up the fact that most guns are owned by a tiny group of insane lunatics that buy and hoard literally hundreds of guns each

you know how we've been telling bad dems to stop being so timid and perfectly calculated and to start supporting actual leftist policies?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/12/french-presidential-election-surge-far-left-candidate-melenchon

quote:

Helped by his caustic rhetoric, strong performances in televised debates and a slick campaign that includes addressing rallies by hologram and Fiscal Combat – a “hit-the-rich” video game – his personal approval rating has leapt 22 points in a month to 68 points, making him France’s most popular politician.

“He’s invented political stand-up,” said one former Socialist party ally, Julien Dray. “He’s become a showman.” Mélenchon himself told the Journal du Dimanche he had become a “reassuring” figure and was “less of a hothead”.

quote:

Mélenchon’s policies include reducing France’s working week from 35 to 32 hours, lowering the retirement age to 60, raising the minimum wage and social security benefits, and taxing earnings of more than €33,000 a month at 100%.

the black child is now bleeding out because they were perforated by the gun owner the reason is because they were black in the presence of the gun owner

It's also an instructive example where the left-wing candidate in the big center-left Socialist party, Benoit Hamon, blew the lovely centrist candidate out of the water in their primary by a 17-point margin in the runoff and then the entirety of the Socialist party establishment has spent the last few months loving over Hamon as much as possible, their constituents' clear preference for him be damned. His runoff opponent even endorsed the lovely Michael Bloomberg-esque "centrist" candidate instead of Hamon, his party's nominee, lol.
