Kids wanna do anything and everything and hate being told they can't. They're pretty much libertarians at heart. They're dumb as hell.

I mean, imagine how differently Starship Troopers would have gone if Jonny Rico hadn't been allowed to watch pets' blood and gun bullets on Youtube as a child. Probably pretty badly for a certain planet, and I don't mean Klendathu!

If you'd rather have your child learn what Mr. Fluffy's insides look like as roadkill rather than an educational video of a vet saving an animal's life then I dunno what to say, I really don't

small children definitely have the mental and emotional maturity to understand that they're looking at a surgical procedure for the benefit of the animal rather than someone cutting it up for kicks there is absolutely no reason a parent would want to introduce their child to those concepts in a more supervised context or when they're a little older

omg I once came across this weird little rubbery animal on the ground. It kinda looked like one of the slime creatures that the Kinder Eggs had at the time, but way more real. I remember slowly approaching and moving my index finger towards it. I got way close, almost on my knees, and I poked the slime creature on its belly, and it moved all it limbs and made a noise and I made a louder noise and I ran away. Probably years later I realized it was a bird that had just come out of its egg, and was blown out of its nest, or was thrown out by a cuckoo. Pink and chickeny and that blue shade on its eyes, and so soft. Even if it didn't die from the cold, lying on the street like that, it would definitely have died from my big finger destroying its guts. :muscle:

As soon as my kids are born i take them to a Guatemalan prison, coat them in butter, and leave them inside for a week. Some rotten soul liberal types might disagree with this, they might say "oh no, you have to wait until they're at least five or six, it's too scary", but this is exactly the reason why kids these days are so weak. They have to learn how the real world works

The actual issue behind channels like Vet Ranch and Demolition Ranch getting labeled as restricted is that YouTube has been putting a lot of videos on their restricted list after changing their algorithm in the past few weeks. Gun channels are some of the most vocal recent ones to get hit, but they've also noticeably restricted a lot of benign LGBT videos and pro wrestling videos. When the videos get put on restricted, they don't appear if you turn on restricted mode on your account (like if there's a kid browsing YouTube) and thus the videos get less views and therefore less ad revenue. Smaller channels can suffer greatly from this kind of thing.
