Yeah I don't get the January release date at all if they were (at this rate) at least six months from being done. They were greenlit in early January, so maybe they have to jump through some legal hoops and are going to polish the game up in the mean time. Gosh, if only they could have told people that. Better idea: tell them the game is delayed a few weeks, then say nothing for months, leading fans to expect a 4/13 release. Then, a week prior to that, say that nothing is going to happen on 4/13.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have much of an idea that Hiveswap was creating actual frustration, as the responses on Tumblr tend to be overwhelmingly positive, and it creates a bit of a positivity echo chamber. I don't think the creative team visit here, or /co/, or, judging by the steam page, the Greenlight in over a hundred days.

okay, i have spent the last several hours perusing homestuck erotica for the purposes of - ironically and without sincerity - providing people with homestuck porn avatars. most of it had better art than the hiveswap trailer and now i am even more despondent about the twenty dollars that past me spent on that awful mess. i could have spend those 20 dollars on a good videogame today, or i could have used them to buy two (2) homestuck pornvatars for unsuspecting strangers.

Omega was okay until they brought Aranea back. Her arc was better when she got unceremoniously killed and then literally never mentioned again. It was the ending that all of the Serkets deserved, frankly
