Farscape is very high on my list of beloved SF, and in particular it's good as SF in that it usually mostly maintains internal consistency. But it sits behind Red Dwarf to my mind because it often took itself too seriously, it focused a little too much on how maudlin and depressing Aryn is because bloo boo peacekeepers suck, and it had too much cast turnover in the later seasons. But it's still miles ahead of like star trek and I'm not sure whether I'd rank it as better or not quite as good as the Battlestar Galactica remake. But I still loved it a lot. I think if you are already a Red Dwarf fan, they're worth watching. The three-episode "Red Dwarf: Back to Earth" miniseries was not great. In fact for all of the first two episodes and most of the third, I was thinking holy poo poo this was such a terrible idea but at the very end it more or less redeems itself. Red Dwarf X is fine. It's by no means great, but it's proper Red Dwarf and enjoyable. I don't feel a strong need to watch it again soon, wheras I feel like seasons 4-6 can be re-watched a lot, they're classics that really hold up well. I haven't had the opportunity to see XI, which aired fall 2016 in the UK, and apparently XII is already in the can so that's gonna happen which is pretty great! Actually I had forgotten XI was already out, looks like it's available on DVD/Blu-ray and maybe somewhere I can stream it, so I'll check it out. tl;dr, yeah if you're a Red Dwarf fan I think it's worth watching the new stuff, but if you decide to skip it you're not missing groundbreaking amazing TV and if you're not already a Red Dwarf fan, then you should definitely focus on the original stuff. The first season is pretty raw but it hits its stride after that and is both consistently funny, and remarkably consistent and lacking in plot holes as a work of science fiction. Lexx is loving terrible and has only one actual redeeming quality, which is a fairly brief and extremely gratuitous nude shower scene. e. Oh yeah I haven't seen The Expanse yet, my wife says I need to watch it. And also I acknowledge that ranking tv shows in order of greatness is kind of pointless, I was mostly just expressing my love for Red Dwarf. Not blaming you, I only knew from going to funeral masses in the last few years  I went to midnight mass this year though. Went to a small church that put their own style on it, and sung the reading from Exodus as opposed to boringly reading it. They served alcohol after mass too
