I like that the new Zeboyd game that came out, which is a cross between Chrono Trigger and Phantasy Star, he put "Brisk pacing that doesn't waste your time!" as a selling point Also I've been playing it and the combat system is extremely good Lakbay fucked around with this message at 14:00 on Apr 17, 2017 |

Disc Jam is so good but the lag is unbearable at times. Really frustrating to find someone who is really good only for their throw animation to pause until .5 seconds before you're supposed to catch the disc, especially after a long back and forth volley. It takes too long to find 60ms players and they're still stuttery and jittery, while 100ms is borderline unplayable. Love this game, but it's hard to justify since I can't play with a wired connection.

I would say to watch gameplay first to make sure it's up your alley, also the portrait and cutscene art is a little offputting. The tone so far is silly and lighthearted but that's my preference whenever I play any videogame

Fired up the PS2 today for the first time since 2006 going by the memory card and a few things stick out. The fan is loud as poo poo. The interface is nice and simple at two icons - one for disc and one for memory card. Everything looks kind of pink and very blurry, especially the GTA games. Controllers feel really light. Really isn't any PS2 game I'm compelled to go back and play now other than Burnout 3 maybe. Muddy graphics and weird camera controls all round.

I have the original PS2 still plugged in but my GF stole my controllers. She has one of those PS2 minis, those things are insanely small.

In other anime news, I finally wrapped up Persona 5. Great game. I bought Nier Automata Friday but I haven't been able to tear myself away from P5 to play it. With that finally at a close I can finally dive in.

If my war vet grandpappy would walk into the room and shake his head at the game I'm playing then it's anime thats the law I thought anime was evil but now I'm deep in Persona 5 and also Nier and Yakuza and it turns out those asian fellows are alright afterall, nothing to be scared of here folks
