I haven't gone back to see if there are advanced stats on his days with the Rangers but I mainly recall him being pretty dang good but prone to some fuckups now and then which made everyone flip their poo poo and hate him. He was over his head as a top pairing guy but didn't perform terribly either

Didn't he play like 99% of his shifts with Jagr. Rob Scuderi could probably look good given those odds.

Yeah but that was tempered by playing 99% of his shifts with Marek Malik

The only saving grace, if you want to call it that, is that he Pelt in both directions.

Even though that meant my team won because he pelt your way last, I still think he is a terrible official and I'm shocked that he still has a job.

I brought my grandma down to watch the Leafs game today, apparently my great-grandparents were from around Hamilton, and were huge Leafs fans, to the point of including a maple leaf in some kind of family crest, and listened to every game on the radio with super-focus. Pretty cool to hear about hockey fandom from three generations ago.

They apparently had a big radio to get the Leafs radio broadcasts from Windsor, and heard the Cup wins from the 1940's over the radio in Michigan.

Leafs are fun and cool. I like the Leafs.

I wonder what the record is for most OTs in a single playoff series. Or if any went OT for all 7 games or for all the games of whatever many games a series went.

Probably less weird. Aren't the top NBA teams ridiculously dominant? The top seed in hockey wins the most but not by a huge margin or anything.
