Having all the Dota autism of EE without the in-game throwing seems like a really good thing

Continuing the story of whatever the gently caress is happening in the DC front office, DC announces they are dropping their old roster and acquiring Team Onyx.

Both old-DC (now called Thunderbirds) and new-DC had Kiev invites, and both will still have them: as always, Valve event invitations go to the set of players, not the organization.

What the gently caress is happening?

It's not a matter of what EE deserved or not. It's a universal constant that EE will lose, MLG Columbus and the Shanghai Major don't count.

EE is coaching Thunderbirds (aka old DC) at Kiev. Aui and 1437 will be casting.

Where's a reliable source for filling out predictions for the Kiev Battle Pass? I don't know enough about professional Dota to do it myself.

Almost every time I've seen "experts" give their suggestions they're usually way off, things happen doing the tournament that no one can predict. You can look at stats and such but you're probably just better off going on gut feeling.

New DC (former Onyx) went through qualifiers and old DC (now Thunderbirds) was second at TI and 3/4 at the Boston Major

Only one I'm sure of is Thunderbirds winning it all. EE will coach them to victory.

Other than picking obvious choices for heroes like alch for gpm in a match or for a tournament, you'd probably beat every single analyst predictions by just guessing

Not really? I've done both my own picks and watched Merlini's picks, and just doing some napkin math about number of matches and format, or a player's average kda on certain heroes or w/e like he does, improves outcomes a huge amount. I mean, if you were doing all that yourself, then yeah, but his stuff is way better than just eyeballing it.

Unless you're way better at eyeballing than me.

The expert picks for these things has generally been about as accurate as just randomly picking options iirc.
