I love slap passes and really hilariously slow saucer passes that somehow get through anyways and lead to goals. Also bank shots. I love that Crosby and Guentzel use them so much. Lemieux was the master of them though. He'd be in the goddamned corner and would intentionally bank sick shots off the goalie. I also love a good elbow. I like teammates standing up for teammates. Jared Boll holding Jordin Tootoo accountable when he took liberties with Jason Chimera and Jan Hejda in the previous CBJ/NSH game or Matt Calvert taking on Rick Nash after Nash blasted  in his first game back to Columbus. Neither were dirty, just "You have wronged my fellow hockeyman in the past at some point and now we shall be punchmans for a moment".I like mic'd up players and coaches and we don't seem to get enough of that. A thing I saw earlier today in an article about the Pens - since the line of Crosby / Guentzel / Sheary came together they've combined for 19 EV (non-EN) goals over 14 games, which is a pace of like 110 goals over a full season. Obviously nobody is going to keep up that pace, but still. drat.
