It's probably quite hard to kill a dude who seems to be able to teleport to wherever he wants. I imagine that the big bad, whoever it is, might be the one on the chase here and they'll probably succeed in popping the fruit guy but not before imparts words of wisdom to Josuke and Yasuhowns that help them get the Rokakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka

* The revelation with Caato is about what we all expected; she murdered someone to protect her family. Not moralizing it or whatever but you can see the motivation there, since obviously her mindset is that letting him live might mean that Jobin's power is revealed or that he's further bullied somehow * The timing for inclusion of the backstory is really interesting and most certainly pertinent in some way. I think it's leading to something major happening with Jobin, most likely. It doesn't necessarily lead away from the idea of Caato as a main antagonist, that could still be there, but I feel like that's not it (though you wonder what she was up to in prison and FFS she's got Chekov's deck of cards) * Having the plant guy show up in precisely this way means that things are moving rapidly towards another big reveal, I think, so I wager we have only a few more months before we find out the main antagonist * I still re-iterate that Joubin's gonna be merging with someone though now that it's been re-confirmed that he's just a "gofer" I wonder if it'll be by force?

HWMN's always awkward translation aside, this just reads to me more like he knew what happened to Kira/Josefumi, rather than him saying the other dead Josuke is alive.  Pretty sure Daxing Dan would be able to offer some quality insight if the raw can be found for this page.
