The Witches of Langley Steve and his pals try using witchcraft to gain power and popularity at school, while Stan and Klaus become obsessed with trying to remember bands from the 1990s.

Surprised to not see more posts here that was the best American Dad I've seen in like years.

It was great. I think this is one of those shows that doesn't need much discussion. I could also be wrong and people just don't know it's back on.

Yeah that ep was loving hilarious. I always love it when this show gets really weird and fantastical

Makin' me feel old Although I didn't listen to too much alternative music in high school, I had friends that did and I recognize all of those bands. Must've been MTV, too (you know, when they actually dealt with music). They even got Dan Wilson of Semisonic to step into the recording booth to say "Hey, man, we're trying to play Closing Time" before his head exploded. I think the '90s band B-plot was a tie-in to the A-plot since there was a lot of witch-related media in the '90s (Sabrina, Charmed, Practical Magic, Blair Witch, Hocus Pocus, etc.) and The Craft, which is what the majority of the plot was based on. Really loved this episode. Felt like a classic episode, to be honest.

Haha, I knew that would work. Okay, yeah the Offspring were decent back in the day and they still put out albums. I stand by Better than Ezra though.

"But Steve, Magic isn't real. If it was, the Orlando Magic would have won a championship by now." So many good lines from this past episode. The show has been excellent since the move to TBS.

I wanted to agree with everyone in that this episode was great! The whole Neverending Story routine with the book was so fun. Also, that silly throwaway gag with Franny's funnel cakes had me laughing for no good reason. Aaaand it was a Steve episode, always a pleasure!

Like Roger says, this is a whole new chapter for them.

I did like how they managed to have "Leno" on without ever actually having to do a voice for him. Although for some reason they actually got LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell for the NCIS LA joke.
