Those were all Clinton policies though. Obama and the democrats are the ones who wanted to work towards a grand bargain that gutted social security. Trump was firmer on protecting entitlements than hillary was in the election.

Trump stood in front of an aluminum plant and said "we're bringing back jobs!" Hillary wouldn't even go to a union hall, she wouldn't be caught dead talking to those people. Too many bank meetings to go to to spend valuable time with working class people instead of fundraising from wall street vultures.

Say what now?
The Democratic primaries are hilarious. In 2008 they got saved by Obama who appeared out of nowhere and beat the establishment who suicidally preferred Clinton.

Then in 2016 they have Clinton running against Bernie. And even if we pretended that Bernie was a good candidate, and not a deluded communist who thinks that Venezuela is a model of good government, he isn't even a Democrat. They had Hillary and that was it. How is the largest political party in the US unable to scrape together a single decent candidate?

Obama is completely paper-thin and so arrogant that he thinks that he is actually some perfect entitled king when he didn't manage to do poo poo other than look good in a suit. It's no wonder he fellated coastal liberal cities, they're exactly his type. If he'd had a different major in college, he'd be programming apps that deliver cottage cheese via drone (instead of using them to shoot people).

Frankly, Trump and Obama are two sides of the same ridiculous entitlement. Nobody liked Hillary but she had the credentials. Obama barely had better credentials than Trump.

Sherrod Brown would have had it in the bag against Trump, but I don't think against any other Republican candidate.

Yeah because telling people you're gonna put their coal mines out of business, promising them "green energy jobs" in states 2000 miles away with companies that fold in 2 years or "job training" that never happens, while calling them racists and sucking the cock of silicon valley shitlords who drive rents up to $4000 a month while pretending that's totally different from wall street is better

I'm saying that Obama as a guy who taught a couple law school classes and was a first term senator is about as qualified to be president as some loving rich windbag from new york city. i.e. about 0%.

It should have been Biden and not Obama, and then it should have been Sherrod Brown instead of Clinton.

You have two doors. One is labelled "probably a man eating lion" the other is labelled "definitely a man eating lion"

Why would you fault anyone for picking the first door? I know you're a democrat and by default you think working class people are too stupid to live, but we pay attention to what the candidates are saying. If Trump is the only candidate even pretending to pay lip service to your issues why wouldn't you vote for him? And he did deliver on a big promise that helped working people that hillary wouldn't have. He ended TPP, and that alone probably makes the Trump vote worth it.

You're right, pointing out why the Democrats lost almost all elections definitely calls for distorting it back onto Hillary and pretending there's no larger issue that resulted in losing everything else as well.

Hillary wasn't moderate primarily because she had no actual beliefs at all.

the credentials argument fell on deaf ears bc clintons creedentials to alot of people were proof positive that she was an incompetent resume padding hack,i remember rachel maddow making the saddest face when sanders called her unqualified and they had sanders wife on and she was like no shes held a lot of positions but shes been mediocre to bad in all of them

Yeah that's a good point. That's another thing trump is keeping a promise on, making the permanent illegal underclass that drives down wages smaller.

Note that he never lays a finger on the employers of such people. He will never send somebody to federal prison for violating minimum wage/OT laws because he doesn't care about that kind of illegality.
