Parely, that's a great gift. Just imagine when you are feeling down, you can take a shot of Coyote. Or maybe blend Coyote into a mixer.

I've seen fun you people wouldn't believe.
Tiki torches on fire off the summit of Kilauea.
I watched disco balls glitter in the dark near the Brandenburg Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like crowds in rain.

Time to sleep.
Coyote is smuggling himself into the school one bit at a time.

Isn't this pretty much what the standard decontamination procedure tries to prevent?

The robots will try to decontaminate the Coyote water so they will toss it out. But Coyote was also the bottle
and the court.

I was joking earlier, but thinking about it, the seed bismuth could actually be some fragment of Coyote which tricked itself into believing to be a court.
That might sort of explain why he wants to infiltrate it.

I think those guys stole the "contaminated material" so they could have fun with it. Look at them jumping around and dancing in the last panel.

The Court has always struck me as odd because it seems to be built to handle an entire city's worth of people, yet it is sparsely populated. Did there used to be more people around?

The girls have wondered this a few times too, it's likely that what everyone's been saying about the court growing from the seed bismuth is true and that it literally grows like a living thing, so most of it is just empty and pointless overgrowth.

It's a pretty good metaphor for urban sprawl, really. The court looks like the most dreary parts of London if they stretched out for miles and miles.

Wasn't there a war fairly recently? That'd thin out the population quite a bit.

I get the sense it is either in decline or has strayed mightily from its original vision.

It's kind of weird, the bridge has always been huge but the early shots of the river seemed to be disproportionately small.

I don't know if it was Tom having trouble with perspective when showing the river or if the gorge narrows drastically.
