The Classic Dinette Set is unanimous. Working Daze is totally roadside. Super-Fun-Pak-Comix will now dress in drag because it's hilarious.

Savidudeosoo posted:I know it's been said before, but I absolutely love Willie and Modesty's friendship and how it comes down to lil' things like recording a show one of them wanted to watch. And they are strictly friends. There's no silly "will they or won't they" business. At no point is romance even on the table. The closest they got was in the last adventure when Modesty was speculating about Willie being the last man on earth (more or less, being stranded forever in the middle of a desert and all) and she did not seem enthused about it.

Proper muffins are more of a savoury cupcake, baked, and made without yeast. English muffins are closer to crumpets as they are toasted, and made with yeast.

I'm so used to them never thinking about each other in those terms I was surprised it got brought up even in that context. Tracksuit The sad part is this is still a more productive use of their budget than anything the Americans are doing. Mother From Another Country Preview won't let me use smaller text than this for this particular comic. I can't decide whether this makes the translations sound more awkward or more streamlined.

Tiggum posted:They're both muffins though. Words can mean more than one thing. And yet some of those meanings can be misleading if you were to take them literally. Thylacine was called the Tasmanian tiger or Tasmanian wolf, but it was neither tiger nor wolf. If it was agreed upon to call Thylacine the Tasmanian muffin then that's what it would be called, but it still wouldn't be a true muffin. Just like a Swedish sandwich cake is not a cake, it's an abomination.
