I remember going to the Canberra memorial as a year 10 and the guide or whatever was a former sniper that had seen some poo poo. He showed us a map of Gallipoli and gave us a strategic talk on what happened. It was not celebratory or crowd pleasing. From memory he said the words "kill box" ten times at least and was a loving grim dude.

The thought is that it's developers battling for council spots around Williamstown since there is a massive NIMBY movement out there and the amount of money in play is pretty staggering.

For a while there was a sign out the front of the old Port Phillip Woollen Mills site (now being turned into apartments) proudly boasting that the prices were starting from $1.1 mil.
