haha wait I assumed this whole time that Chuck did something like have Howard and the P.I. sign sworn statements that they had listened to the contents of the tape and that Jimmy would be charged for what he confessed to on the tape. Is he actually such a piece of poo poo that it's not even about that anymore?

Chuck's pressing on, but slightly rattled. e- He's going to have to go into the courthouse. They're not going to shut the power off for him.

More witnesses against Chuck, drat! How do they find a lawyer that doesn't know about Chuck? Jimmy is the small one by recognition.

Johnny Five-Jaces posted:i hope chuck dies in court I want him freakin' out on the stand so much, all Jimmy has to do is ask that his testimony be recorded or introduce some kind of fancy electronic gizmo and watch Chuck freak out and lose credibility. He can also bring up when he was tazed by the cops, his hospitalization, etc. Jimmy should still be screwed (though I think he'll slip out of it not completely ruined), but Chuck ain't getting out of this clean either. Rageaholic Monkey posted:Is Chuck........being nice?! Nope, he just wants Jimmy to be disbarred instead of formally prosecuted. That's the deal he's going to talk the prosecutor into offering. Chuck you're the worst.

I'm curious as to what Chuck is playing at. He clearly doesn't like the idea of Jimmy being jailed, showing some actual sympathetic traits for once, and obviously he knows he won't be a proper testimonial witness in court when he can barely stand to be outdoors. Maybe he's going to try to get Jimmy disbarred?

Maybe I'm naive to just how nasty Chuck can get, but I read that as him mulling over what Jimmy said about him not being there when Chuck needs him and starting to recant way, way too late. Which, as I said above, if that's the case, gently caress you Chuck. gently caress you very much.
