Enough people made a stink about the Penguins getting Pascal Dupuis but not Beau Bennett added onto the Cup that Beau even said on twitter "no really guys I understand, I'm not mad" And then of course Kevin Porter got in right on the nose at 41 games so any future Penguins fan that sees the Cup will be like "who the hell was that"

My 2 favorite OT games were... 1) Pens vs Caps where Lemieux got ejected in the first or second period for going bonkers on a Caps player... then Petr Nedved wins it in multiple OT 2) Darius Kasparitis with the unlikely series clincher vs Hasek and the Sabres. Also, NHL... I want to pay for unfiltered on ice mic. Let me do it. Think of the HRR!

He did not play a single NHL playoff game in his whole career. He is on the Stanley Cup as a member of the 09 Pittsburgh Penguins.

Apparently he wrote his own Wikipedia page too Having terrific vision, soft hands and adept in a passing touch, and great skill on the faceoff, Zigomanis has molded his role as a third-line playmaker. The Coyotes signed him to a contract extension through the 2008–09 season on February 16, 2007. On October 9, 2008, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for future considerations.[3][4] Zigomanis provided faceoff and penalty killing expertise to Pittsburgh.

The Hawks Bruins triple OT game in game 1 2013 was pretty good imo. Nothing crazy but I'm a bandwagon fan who has only watched hockey since 2008-2009 season

That PIT@CBJ game a few years back where Fleury got caught out of the net and gave up the tying goal with less than a minute left, then Nick Foligno slid the length of the ice on his knees after scoring the OT winner was one of my favorite Playoff games I ever watched.

I was watching an arena football game and one of the coolest things I heard was that the refs were mic-ed up during their replay challenge reviews. It was awesome to hear their thoughts while they disected the play. I'd love for the NHL to do this too, but it would never happen.

It's sweet that they think Calgary had a shot. I mean the games were close but winning in 6 would have been sorta impressive. I also didn't know Adnan Virk worked for ESPN.

How about we start awarding participation stanley cup awards instead, everyone's a winner. You make to the playoffs, you get a day with the cup.
