Wasn't it the same comic where Terry's Rogue's Gallery got killed off by Neo New Hush? I seem to remember that being a thing.

You will recall that Joker died before he ever shot Barbara in the DCAU.

Killing Shriek and Inque is weird because those are probably Terry's most high profile rogues with consistently good stories that stand the test of time. I guess there's Curare, Spellbinder, and not-Kraven, but none of them are all that compelling in comparison.

I had to Google Big Time and it took me a minute to realize that he wasn't just the generic muscle henchman in all those pictures. I need to rewatch Batman Beyond.

The thing that pissed me off about that book was the story after it, I think, where they revealed that Blight was dead... and then revived him about a page later. (And I'm sure the explanation for him surviving was bullshit even by comic book standards, like his radioactive skin turned the water he was drowning in into oxygen or some crap)

Anybody get the Young Animal vinyl last week? There's a kind of cool opening/closing for the sampler book by Gerard Way and Mike Allred? It's a cool attempt to sell comics to a hipper crowd. Also, I really want Robot Man's "Heavy Meta" shirt. I just want a Doom Patrol shirt.

Can manga go in here? I hope so. Dr. Stone In this flashback to the protagonist's childhood, the protagonist Senku is a really smart and precocious kid who really likes science, and one day he comes home to his dad saying "I want to go to space."

Injustice 2 - Don't know issue As dumb parallel comic stories go, this is one of the best; and probably the single best video game tie-in comics ever produced. Backstory - At the end of Injustice 1 Black Canary is dying after one of many long battles, Doctor Fate intervenes in a "gently caress fate" moment and drags Dinah and her son Conner Queen over to a parallel dimension where Oliver hasn't been killed by Superman. Due to ~Injustice 2 fuckery~ Ollie + Dinah are now back in the prime universe

Infinitum posted:Injustice 2 - Don't know issue From the following issue. Keep in mind that after Joker died, Ollie put Harley on the right path. Then he got killed and Harley went on a pattern of attaching herself to people only for them to die (Black Canary, Detective Chimp, Shazam). Injustice 2 has a lot of references to the comic. My favorite so far being Harley playing with her secret daughter, who is playing with a toy car with a tutu on it.
