Probius doesn't have much in common with Zagara beyond plopping junk on the map and pushing lanes, but their skills are very different. It can be fun if you like the shock combo, but is hard to get results with and has some lame talents. It can push a lane like crazy if left alone, though.

I'd maybe say that in terms of play style it's more like Chromie with much shorter range, but nobody is really that similar to Probius.

Had a game on Hanamura yesterday with my friends where it was four of us in a group and got matched up with a Probius.

This Probius was loving incredible and easily got MVP. He was doing some WORK the whole match. We also easily won that game, and I put plenty of that on the Probius. I think in the right hands he's really good.

At the same time though, I've managed to get two different epic Murky skins through chests and I have a feeling the game is trying to tell me that I should play him. I've heard he's a bit of a troll character though. How does one play Murky and is he worth getting?

Murky is great and very fun, and a good one to jump into for some big changups if you're used to league.

He's a "troll" character in that his style is basically to be annoying while also gaining huge lane/push advantage in the early/midgame. He's better on some maps than others, but he's super fun and I'd definitely give him a whirl.

I assume you got your hero bundle? (which one did you go for?) If those didn't exist, Murky might not be the best hero ever to buy early into the game, but if you got a hero bundle I see no reason not to try him out.

The area denial some of them offer is immense, and getting those forts down offers your team a ton of freedom towards stealing camps and coverign payloads.

Johanna is a solid tank pick in an uncoordinated group because she can initiate while also being very difficult to kill on her own, so the rest of your team can completely abandon you and you'll still probably get out alive.

Forts grant +1 core damage on your next payload. The map is a race, so being able to take more forts faster than your opponent wins games.

I really wish more of his power was in his turrets and less in his UT shock combo. I realize they have to be careful how much area denial they allow, but even with talents backing them up the photon cannons seem super underwhelming. Which is disappointing.

Idk, with 2 photon cannons and 2 ulted pylons around an objective you basically completely deny anyone getting in there, especially since stealthier heroes won't be able to make it in. There's a reason master tier KR players mostly play the E build. It has been the best build I've played by far

It's the build I play too, to be clear. I maybe just am not playing well or hoping for too much. It seems rare that I get enough cooldown reducing cannon shots to happen that I have two up for any length of time. I love the idea of being a turret commander, maybe I just need more practice.

Edit: Also on the topic of turrets, did they remove Gazlowe's ability to target his? I see robo-goblin has been reworked.

Edit 2: Nevermind they just put it on 1.

I've only played like 7-8 games on him since he's fairly new, but I also prefer the turret based build since its the most laid back.

He needs a lot of time to properly set up, so he's definitely best just posting up in a lane and pushing. Your bomb combo can clear most of a minion wave in one hit so you can push super hard.

When in a lane try to set up your pylons in different areas but so they overlap. If a lane has 2 bushes I try to use both. Drop your turret in the overlapping zone - at low-mid player levels people will focus down the pylon and take a bunch of free turret damage.

Use your slow field as a zone denial tool, the combo with Q does massive damage so try to position it where they either have to walk around it or risk taking a ton of damage.

Don't forget about your mount ability too. Try to save it until you're low on hp. If you play it right it can work like zuljins tazdingo where an enemy will smell blood and chase you through your turret / into your team.

That's all I got - he's not too complicated

as a master player, my only advice is to play mages that have some mechanic or way of wiping the entire enemy team. gul'dan is good when objectives need to be cleared, li ming is good if they're light on tanks, jaina and kael'thas are rear end garbage for solo queue.

otoh, SKULL.GIF is master and a better player than me and he almost exclusively plays support. it's a matter of finding what you're comfortable with, then first and foremost, not dying, doing objectives, and killing enemy heroes.
