Oh man, me and two of my friends had a string of some pretty bad games with Lucios going after lanes by themselves and Novas just standing there shooting and never stealthing or anything. We did one final game for the night, and we all went our A-games. So I went back to my roots with my boy Gazlowe. And usually I take the graviton bomb talent but there was no one on the team to pair it with so my friends suggested I do the buzz saw arms one. MMM MMM MMMMMMM. That was some GOOD poo poo  Probably one of the best Gazlowe games I've had in a while. Also earlier in the night I had a game where I just kept getting WRECKED by this Valeera on another character. Like to the point where I'm pretty sure she was just focusing me everytime for whatever reason and I couldn't do anything about it. This game though, their Valeera couldn't do poo poo to me and it felt great buzzsawing her stupid face off repeatedly. Also it was Infnernal Shrines so there was just a constant barrage of turrets going at their team and they couldn't even touch the points. Also it makes me want to always do the buzzsaw hands ult even though the graviton bomb is suggested way more cause man is that poo poo fun

That was some GOOD poo poo Both of Gazlowe's ults seem equally, if contextually, useful. Robo-Goblin is good for maps where you can get a lot of utility out of taking merc camps (and Gazlowe's already pretty good at this but Robo-Goblin makes him even better), objectives based around killing things (like Garden of Terror or Haunted Mines), or like you've noted if there just isn't a lot to combo it with on your own team.

Robogoblin is good for murdering everything with 600 dmg punches and huge armor values. Very few melee heroes can keep up with him at 20.

Probably because everyone insisted on taking the stack-building talent instead. Sieging Wrath these days is pretty neat, though; it gets you a reliable damage increase for hitting heroes, and hitting enough gives you a massive range increase. Though you mainly take it for actual push-builds instead of dunk-builds these days.

Taste For Blood can get higher if you can manage to last-hit minions with the orb. But that requires team coordination and poo poo so it'll never happen.

Gazlowe's power spike at 20 when you take upgraded robo-goblin never fails to catch a few people off guard in the next team fight when you murder them and steal their stereos.

Even with team coordination it's not worth the effort most of the time. You still end up with respectable damage dunks with Sieging Wrath, plus the range increase is very good, and you actually spend the game helping your team instead of playing a minigame.

I tried a heavy defense build for Artanis last night and now I don't understand why anyone would ever play him differently. Though now I have to decide if I want to keep playing him enough to drop half my gold on him.

Almost all his talent tiers are all defensive or all offensive, there usually isn't a choice between doing more damage vs taking less. Except at 20, always take the shield cooldown at 20 so you can become a living god. Also amateur opponent at level 1 is really, really, good on maps with bosses like BoE.

So I've played a fairly ridiculous number of games as Valeera. I've been going Vigor->Relentless->Mutilate->Smoke->Elusiveness->Seal Fate->Cold Blood (RIP)/Nightslayer. I had no idea that the go to build is based around maximising Ambush damage and utility, I would have thought Cheap shot was just way too good not to open with.

You won the majority of your games so, uh, you did okay? Stats in this game are useless in a vacuum. What was your team comp, what was the enemy team comp, was the opposing team avoiding attacking you in favor of your backline, was your team bad at positioning, so on and so forth. You won most of your games and you didn't die very often. So I'd say you did pretty well.

Downloaded this after not playing since probably beta. Having surprisingly amounts of fun so far! I have 5 heroes, so I'm guessing I should go for the flex bundle? Normally I prefer support characters in these types of games, but having a bit of everything might not be a bad idea either. Also, will goons on discord actually play with a complete noob like me? Would be nice to get those 5 games needed for the weekly quests.
