STRIKE!

This is really cool. I researched more and they are extremely efficient little critters.

Different article

quote:

Enter APOPO, a Belgian nonprofit that has created an army of TNT-sniffing African giant pouched rats. These critters are light enough to walk over the mines without setting them off, and use their noses to find the explosives quickly.

One rat can search over 2000 square feet (200 square meters) in 20 minutes, an area that could take a human up to four days, APOPO training manager Abdullah Ramadhan says in an email.

Since APOPO was founded in 1997, these furry super-sniffers have helped clear 13,200 mines from minefields in Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, and, most recently, in Cambodia. (Learn about Cambodia’s recovery from landmines’ scourge.)

Lot's of adorable pictures too. These African giant pouched rats are the size of cats!!!

Ghost children. Also, a grafted moral that didn't actually work with the themes of the series, which was the main problem with the game as a whole.

Wasn't it that there were a total of three endings, all of which where variations of the world was totally hosed no matter what you did?

The ending of ME3 was better then the cyber ninja mid-boss who kept showing up. That dude was what was wrong with 3, not the ending.

But the main issue with the ending was they basically ignored that anyone besides humans exist in the universe, when humans suck real bad, they stuck a weird haunted thing thing throughout the game after Shepherd watches a 10 year old kid get lit up like Dresden despite the previous two games featuring Shepherd see terrible poo poo happen constantly to people and is like whatever, and then they basically color coded one of three options which all had the net result of resetting the galaxy that didn't make any sense

It might be unpopular around here, but i find that the ending of me3 ties the narrative up in a really visceral way that truly conveys the themes of life, love and loss. Shepard goes from being a corpse in space who is saved by those he loves when they risk everything for him; to a messiah who risks everything to save those he loves, while also redeeming him from the guilt he feels over letting that boy die.

The feels that the original mass effect trilogy imparts on me are truly unique and i think it's a classic. Really only tell tale games provide the same sort of story telling in games

Same. Like everything, hardcore geeks got way too :qq: over it.. but that doesn't take away from the fact that the ending was in fact lovely. You just picked a color and pushed a button and one of 3 cut-scenes played that kind of made no sense, game over.

Yeah it's very medicore. Once I got into the heart of the game, I really didn't care for it. They could have spent longer on it and added a lot more stuff.

Now it'll just be DLC and make everyone pay for it.

other people who are in charge of that, who generally require a month of lead time in planning and then specific planned rollout dates to implement changes to their system. And who are probably already checked out for the weekend.

Had to push on friday, no choice. Company policy. We can't touch poo poo except on friday. Presumably so that when this happens, it only affects customers who are working on the weekend, which is a much lower number of customers? A reasonable idea if it weren't for the severe lack of ability to fix poo poo after everyone goes the gently caress home early on friday
