It also means that the main center right party's electors are mostly fine voting for a fascist in runoffs. The US can't do that because bipartisan nonsense is culturally ingrained.

Upon my research, in the United States less youth, including white youth, voted for Trump than the adults did. EDIT - However, after the election results, it seems that the French overall are less attracted to right wing populism than Americans.
