Jack Barker: "Why don't you go ahead and take a seat, Gavin?"

Subtle reference to Chris Hansen, because of the COPPA violations?

Every podcast I've heard Middleditch on, he's been almost the opposite of his SV character. Energetic, almost manic, cracking stupid jokes in silly voices over and over, and is both genuinely funny and extremely annoying. He seems to be just as big of a nerd IRL, but in a completely different way.

He was on one of those late shows, Colbert I think, and he got really into some story about how he used to have lan parties and one of the guys brought a water cooling unit for his PC. He giggled the whole time he enthusiastically talked about it and realized most of the way through that no one was laughing and just kind of flamed out. I laughed.

I like them referring to Bighead's lovely university grades, I remember that detail being on the website which mentioned him being 3 credits short of attaining a BSCS from University of Oklahoma if I remember

E: I hope Bighead makes his students clandestinely work on SeeFood, probably by giving them assignments to come up with ML algorithms that can do what SeeFood's been said to do

After all, you don't really have the rights to a college assignment, right?

Ed: Jian Yang, this is really important. You need to give us a functional app.

Jian Yang: There isn't one. We haven't even made a demo.

Ed: You haven't made one? Why?

Erlich: Boys, boys, let's speak in English. It's the law.

Ed: Octopus recipes?

He's absolutely going to start receiving offers from Stanford, MIT, Caltech etc. thinking its for a degree program not realizing they want him as a tenured professor. Then he'll end up accepting honorary degrees because he doesn't think they really mean anything since you don't earn them.

Big Head accidentally becomes the Feynman of computer science lectures. Everybody wants to hear him talk, because he explains things "down to earth". Granted Big Head doesn't actually know what he's talking about, but his insights are 'profound' for those listening.

Kool Keith is criminally underrated and incredibly prolific.

Also I remember seeing some other show recently that used a track from The Automator's "Handsome Boy Modelling School" but I forget which show and track.

As you may know, I used to be CEO of Pied Piper before exiting voluntarily due to our incompatible priorities. Troops: thank you for your service.

Personally, this hits close to home. Family means everything to me, and the thought of one of the littlest members of the Barker brood chatting with someone, a Gavin Belson type for instance, sure does scares the heck out of me.
