I saw the new Ultimate SpiderMan 2 pack with ultimate vulture and Spider-Man today at Walmart. Passed on it because I don't care about either figure that much but they are out there.

I may give the Spideys in this new wave a total pass, crazily enough. I collect basically any Spidey, and this wave is full of them, sure, but I don't care about the homemade suit (totally would have taken a Tobey MacGuire one, though) and I really only want one figure with the new black stripe suit design and SHF and Mafex's offerings both look outstanding and will undoubtedly come with a shitload of accessories. Will have to see how they measure up to each other... There's no cape and the new SF figures are awesome, so SHF may knock it out of the park... I really want Moon Knight from the new Spidey wave. Ever since Declan Shalvey introduced that new costume during Ellis' run a few years back, I've been thinking about how perfectly "toy-etic" it was. You can even put three "moon-arangs" into tiny slits between the fingers of his fist, to make him hold them out like claws.

If that's the Titus baf wave those are everywhere in great numbers here in Tulsa. Having a real hard time finding other ML at the moment. If anyone sees a Green Goblin from the new Spider-Man wave at retail I'd buy it at this point.

My daughter (6) saw the new Alien movie posters and was instantly captivated and when I told her it was one of the scariest movies I'd seen and that she can't see it until she's in high school (at least) she started saying she wanted to see it right away. I guess Predator 2 isn't that bad really. It was one of those weird situations where it was on HBO or something at the right time of my youth, so I've seen it way more than the first one. I rewatched it a while back and it's not as bad as any of the later Alien movies but it's not a 'good' movie in the same way the original is. It's got enough good parts, I guess. Racist as absolute gently caress, but it was the 90s. Nowhere near the original though. Not remotely close. Better than all of the AvP movies, if that needed saying.
