They yellow more easily but they're like half my age so it's not a huge deal, I'm mostly just happy I was able to haggle down from $70

Trying to be more responsible towards work so I'm buying multiple pairs of nice shoes simultaneously. Got these two already, Johnston & Murphy Conard in plain toe black and tan cap toe (just imagine the black pair has an unadorned toe):

Seriously considering adding these Allen Edmonds, they are so nice:

Also some new cedar shoe trees to help preserve them, and this wallet to replace my falling apart old one:

Moon Hooch are super rad but seeing them live is really good only in a few song bursts - it's an incredibly loud show in every possible way, which just gets fatiguing after about 6 songs in a row.

I actually only saw them because of the flyknit ones and initially thought they were too, but they're definitely not. They're modern future oddly enough. They look more plastic-y than cloth-y like the flyknit, which makes sense, but they don't really look like the other modern future stuff (which is ok with me because I'm not a fan but these are sweet).

I also got some shoes. My Onitsuka Tigers are (finally) wearing out after more than four years and I couldn't find another colorway of those that I liked so I'm switching allegiances for now.

Also got some work shoes (bartending), which are even less glamorous.

And a fresh pair of 511s in the "Rigid Dragon" colorway, which is up for grabs as a name for your dick, if you need one.

I used to buy Es Accels but then they stopped making them in black and I think I had a pair of Vans Baxters (or something) in between but the past few years I've been ordering Etnies Kingpins whenever the old pair gets too worn.

Basically, people who've known me for a long time probably think I've had the same shoes for the past 17-18 years.

I tend to get bored with my current selection of shoes and want something new to add to my outfits after a month or two, which results in me compulsively buying at least one new pair. This is a massive about-face from how I was from middle school until about a year ago: buying the exact same pair of black Walmart running shoes over and over and just replacing them every year or two when they got too worn.

Those Keds I bought yesterday are my first ever red shoes.
