Not First kit talk: I started in middle School with the first Mg Mk2. It I got before the titans or G-defender kits were even released. Used nail clippers and an old box cutter that was dull from years of use without replacement of the blade. I remember seeing the yellow vents for the shoulders and not knowing where they went so I tossed them only to realize my mistake a week later, after the trash had been collected. It also took me like 7+ before I figured out master grade and high grade meant more than just kit size.

Someone with more knowledge should chime in here, but all I've heard is that IBO's ratings sucked rocks for both seasons, especially among the younger demographic which the powers-that-be are constantly chasing, and that the US airing bombed out even harder. But the kit line apparently sold pretty well, so what the hell, keep that poo poo rolling as long as possible:

Ehh, the Assault Pack is the only one that only changes a bit of the armor color, and there's no way in hell they'll make a MG Assault Pack. The Tricky and Reflect Packs completely change the color all over the suit, so at that point there's no reason not to also throw in the internal skeleton so it's a functioning kit. The Perfect Pack and High Torque pack don't change the color of the armor at all, but I don't exactly have high hopes for either of those getting kits. I'd be happy with a regular release of the G-Self with Atmosphere Pack and a P-Bandai Space Pack release, I don't think anything more is very likely

Long ago I used Tamiya nippers to cut down the nickel-titanium wire on my braces because it was stabbing the gently caress out of the inside of my mouth. Barely nicked it, I bet 1mm brass won't do jack, immersion ruined.

Finishing up lining and decaling and HG Atlas. The Thunderbolt/Origin kits are so nice compared to the IBO kits. It's also nice having an HG that doesnt have any poly caps

I kinda like that Build Burning as a "what if it was a regular Gundam instead of a martial arts one" thing and I do not like how thin that Gyanko is though so I guess I'll stick with the beargguy one! I'm trash!!
