I just bought 4 tickets to the Aquabats playing in MD just outside D.C. It'll be my fourth time seeing them and since it's right before my birthday I treated myself to the blue rashguard shirt so I can be one of those nerd manchildren dressed like them at their concert. Also bought a freestanding snowboard rack from https://www.proboardracks.com which is simple enough I could have constructed one but what am I, made of effort? Oh also a bunch of LED bulbs because the jokers who flipped the house I bought put 65w incandescents everywhere so I got 9w LED's that are just as bright.

The obsidian gumsole shoes I got are almost the exact same color as the regular Chinese-made Chucks I bought a year ago, but they ran out of size 12 so I got a size 11.5. They're snug on the sides, but not enough to be a big deal. They have a Lunarlon insole to make them more comfortable, but I haven't taken long enough walks to notice a difference yet. I'd buy SeaVees instead. They come with a comfortable insole that has a definitely noticeable difference from your average pair of Chucks, but they still have that neat timeless, minimalist aesthetic of sneakers from the mid-20th century. These are the shoes I wear from them:  Less than $100, too.
