SHOAH NUFF posted:I watched the original Alien film earlier today, I've only seen it 2-3 times and the last time was like 15 years ago. I think it's one of my favorite movies. It's a perfect horror movie. I watched the ending the other day on cable. It's so chilling when the wall starts moving and the alien is still on the ship with her. And Aliens is a perfect action movie. I love those two movies so much. Also I can't wait for Paul Reiser to be in Stranger Things as a Burke-type character.

I like Alien 3 quite a bit as well. It's definitely not as strong a movie because of its messy creation (and I get hating it because of how it poo poo all over Aliens' ending), but the assembly cut is pretty solid. I always liked how disgusting & grimy the setting is and Weaver's fantastic. Resurrection, though. Woof

I forget what its called, but their is a DC animated movie that is set in the 50s and its dark. Likebat one point they see a plane coming and realize its Wonder Womans invisible plane, but they can see it because its coated in her blood.

Saga goes a little wonky around chapter/volume 4 when they try to be a family and have dumb suburban family-like problems but it gains solid footing after that, and before that is some of the best stuff in comics ever. My only problem with it is Vaughan ends his series terribly almost without fail.

I don't think it's that weird to not know where North Korea is on a map exactly, but I think someone who's given no thought to it should at least be able to go... well, they look kinda chinese and china always gets mentioned when North Korea is in the news, so it's probably somewhere next to that at least.
