I worked for private industry under the so-called welfare party being in charge and it was a poo poo storm of staff cuts and austerity while the C-suite got million dollar raises year after year.

The org I work for now is big enough to buy politicians so I should be fine, and if I'm not (and I'm absolutely planning for worst case scenario mind you) then I'll at least be better off than I would've been in the private sector

Millennials are like everyone else but slightly different, there are a handful of broad trends but people are still people and communities still have their own character, as a millennial working a blue collar heavy industry job I see guys my age all day who sure as gently caress wouldn't fit in with Lena Dunham or zuck or whoever else we're supposed to be
