My dad was lamenting that now to be president you have to have a firm majority of congress to not get impeached and cited Nixon and Bill Clinton of it basically now being a thing, and the only reason Obama or anyone else didn't get impeached is because you couldn't find enough senators from their own parties to "defect" against them, but given the opportunity Bush, Bush, Obama, and St.Reagan would have been brought up under impeachment charges. I wasn't old enough for politics until the tail end of Dubya, but does that seem to jive?
